MYC SNOW KITE OPEN - WEATHER UPDATE!

As you might have seen on the forecast it doesn't look awesome for Saturday (rain, thunder, maybe lightening?!), but looks great wind-wise for Sunday. We're making adjustments to ensure we can provide some great racing without making you stand out in the rain. What does that look like?

FRIDAY (TONIGHT) - Join us at Back Channel Brewing for an informal happy hour from 5 - 7PM to chat about the snow kiting event, to see other club members, and to celebrate the first MYC event of the season. Registration and volunteer opportunities will also be available.

SATURDAY - All social activities (music, food truck, etc.) are cancelled.

Racers ONLY - We will be meeting at Ben Burgum's (THANK YOU!) at 11AM for the competitors meeting and will make a final call around 12/12:30 about how the wind and weather are looking. We hope to potentially get some racing in if the weather cooperates. RACERS ONLY please text 815-790-8993 if you need the address or more information.

SUNDAY -- GAME ON AND GET READY TO SEND IT! Competitor's meeting is at 11AM out at Lighthouse Island, racing starts at NOON. Food truck will be at Park Ave. and music and commentary will be out on the island. Wind looks great and let's hope that the 3AM - 4AM fresh power makes it fast, crazy, and really enjoyable for all participants.
