Format:
This is a two-day performance clinic for the Melges 15 class. Coaches will cover the finer points of tuning, boat handling, and speed. The goal is to provide sailors the opportunity to improve and learn leading up to the ILYA Championships hosted by MYC July 30 – Aug 2, 2025.
Entry Fee:
$150 before May 17, 2025 / $175 after May 17, 2025
Lunch:
Lunch is not included. Bring your own lunch, snacks, and water each day.
Dinner:
A post-clinic social is planned at the Hanley residence for June 14. Adress details provided upon registration. No additional fees needed.
Venue:
Lighthouse Island and Bug Island on Lake Minnetonka. Final logistics will be weather dependent. Pontoon shuttles will be available from the dock at the Park Avenue parking lot: 19800 Park Avenue, Wayzata MN 55391.

Spectating:
Parents wishing to attend as spectators or support boats are welcome to join. Powerboats can be launched at the Carson’s Bay Boat Launch.
Coach Bio:
Toby Sullivan grew up sailing Optis, 420s and a J30. He graduated from Drexel University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently employed in Shoreview as a design engineer in automation machinery manufacturing. Toby has been racing Melges 15s since 2021, and races major regattas throughout the country. Toby kicked off his Melges 15 racing career with a 2nd place at the inaugural M15 nationals. In 2024, he won a “three-peat” at the ECC, Great Lakes, and ILYA Championships.
Dana Haig is a ‘23 MIT graduate, where she was named an All-American, NEISA all team, and finalist for New England Female sailor of the year. She grew up sailing on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. She sailed Optis, c420s, and i420s all around the world, competing on Team USA. Currently, she sails M15s and E Scows.
