Membership Classes

MYC's membership classes are described in the Club's bylaws. All membership classes have the following benefits:

Daily pontoon service to LHI and Bug Island from CBF and Park Avenue.

Access to Club social events, Wednesday Grill Nights, holiday picnics, regatta parties, and many other events throughout the year.

Reciprocity for select yacht clubs throughout the United States.

Use of LHI grills, fire pits, lawn games, and facilities.

Regular Membership

A Regular membership can be an individual, couple, or family. It confers the privileges of membership on domestic partners or married couples living at the same legal address in a family and on all of their children living at home who have not attained their twenty-first birthday prior to January 1st of the current calendar year or their twenty-fifth birthday, if they are a full-time student prior to January 1st of the current calendar year.

Each Regular member shall be entitled to skipper a yacht and may register yachts for racing.

Each Regular adult member and their partner or spouse who is at least twenty-one years of age, shall be entitled to one vote.

Each spouse or partner and minor family member with consent and guarantee of payment of a parent or legal guardian, shall be entitled to rent buoys, slips, ramps, and lifts spaces and charge on an MYC account when the Club permits charging.

Associate Crew Membership

Crew membership covers one individual that participates as crew in three or more races during the racing season.

Associate Social Membership

Social membership exists for non-racing members that would like to participate in social activities hosted by MYC .

Intermediate Membership

A boat owner, crew member, or social member 21-29 years old.

Junior Membership

A boat owner, crew member, or social member 0-20 years old.
